Placing an Order
***I currently am NOT accepting orders for fixed blade sheaths. It is possible that I could make an exception depending on the knife and what you are looking for, so email me if you have any thoughts.***
Wait Times
Wait times are all dependent on the number of orders in queue. On the home page I will give updates as to the current production time from the time the order is placed to estimated completion. I am unable to give exact times, but in almost all cases the order is fulfilled before the longest estimated time given on the "Home" page.
Creating a Product
Each item is made per order to the customer's specific request. The beauty of a custom good is that the customer gets to design their own creation.
Pattern Items
When it comes to sheaths like the friction-based sheaths I made for folding knives, I will always require a pattern item to make it. That means if for example I were to make a friction sheath for a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 I would need the actual item in guarantee a perfect fit. Even if I have made the item before, I would need to have the item in my possession for production.
If there is a knife that I do not have, I encourage that you send me your knife for production. When a knife/item is sent to be, the utmost care is given to ensure it returns in the same condition as it arrived to me. When the item is received by me, the sheath is then made and everything returns to the buyer in one package.
My selection of pattern knives is quite limited, but below I have listed my current selection of knives that can have sheaths made for without the buyer sending their own.
Spyderco
Benchmade
Kershaw Mini Cyclone
Zero Tolerance 0350
Options
In regards to options, if there is something that I do not have, that you may want, please let me know and I will try to acquire it.
Stitching
When it comes to stitching, there are a few options to chose from in terms of thread/cord. The "thread" is slightly thinner than the "braided cord", and both are made of nylon. Both are extremely strong. Just a preference of appearance.

Materials
All cowhide leather is 100% full grain vegetable tanned leather. The appropriate thickness is chosen for each project. Since leather is a natural material, there is always the possibility of natural scratches and scars on the surface. I will always select the best pieces I can for customer's projects. Highly blemished leather is typically used for my own personal projects.

Stingray is somewhat considered a "luxury" material. Because of its difficult working abilities it is only suited for certain applications. It is fairly expensive so it will add a significant cost to the project.
Stamping
A small amount of stamping options are available to add your own personalized touch to an item. The cost is determined by the amount of stamping you would like done. The cost is only a very slight up-charge.
Both lettering and numbers are available as well as some odd decorative stamps.

Knife Orientation
Knife orientation (i.e. Tip-up/Tip-down) compatability is mostly determined by the shape of the knife and handle. Not all knives are suited for tip up or tip down. One option is usually better suited than the other. The knife's widest point has to be on the outside of the sheath. When you place your order let me know what the knife is and what orientation you prefer and I will let you know if the knife is compatible. I will be able to tell just by looking at the knife. Here are two examples of knife in each orientation.
